A word is made up of three parts.

Here 'Un' is a prefix, 'happy' is the root and 'ly' is the suffix.
Note: PREFIX is a word, letter or number placed before another.
SUFFIX is a letter or a group of letters added to the end of a word to change its meaning.
Now today we have taken 'Mot' as a ROOT which has a meaning: Move.

1) Motivation - (Mot-e-way-tion) - A reason or reasons for acting or behaving in a particular way

3) Locomotion - (Loco-motion) - Movement or the ability to move from one place to another
Usage - He specialisms in the mechanics of locomotion.
4) Commotion - (Cum-motion) - A state of confused and noisy disturbance
Usage - His arrival caused quite a commotion.
5) Motif - (Mot-if) - A dominant or recurring idea in an artistic work
Usage - The motif of betrayal and loss is crucial in all these stories.
6) Emote - (Em-ot) - (especially of an actor) portray emotion in a theatrical manner
Usage - The dance emote got a ton of laughs.
7) Motel - (Mot-el) - A roadside hotel designed primarily for motorists, typically having the rooms arranged in low blocks with parking directly outside
Usage - The gas station just neighbours to the motel.
8) Emotive – (Im-o-tive) - Arousing or able to arouse intense feeling
Usage - They are expressed in highly emotive language.
